Randy Taylor is the inventor of the Captain Catchemall baitcup. He is a long time fisherman originally from Kentucky, but now living just outside of Shelby, NC. Randy has a very inventive mind and was experimenting with ways to keep his chicken livers on his hook while casting when he came up with the original concept several years ago. Over time he has refined and improved the design so that now it works quite well. Just recently he has begun to offer them to his friends and fishing buddies.
My name is Sam Weir (also from Shelby, NC), and I have been a friend of Randy's for a dozen or so years. Personally, I’m not a fisherman but on several outings, Randy has taken me fishing and being a non-fisherman, it impressed me that with the Captain Catchemall baitcup, I usually wind up catching more fish that even the seasoned pros. Randy and I have teamed up to now offer the Captain Catchemall baitcup to the fishing public.
What impresses me the most about the baitcup is that it is so easy to use and does exactly what Randy says it does. You never will cast your bait off your hook again. And as a very nice side benefit it makes it so much safer to fish around other folks especially when kids are around.
